LOCATION: We are located on the shore of Lake Superior - half a mile off the main road on Nicol Island. Follow the signs. 

THE POTTERY -We have woodfired stoneware and porcelain handmade by Tim Alexander. The pottery is fired in a two-chambered Japanese style climbing kiln. It requires 20 hours of stoking for each firing. 

The pots are functional and we have a wide selection of wares
including t-pots, bowls, serving dishes, plates and much more.
Island Pottery celebrates life on the edge of the boreal
forest.
