Ice Fishing
The bays in and around Rossport provide an excellent opportunity to engage in ice fishing. There is easy access to these sheltered bays and ample room for parking.
Stake your claim to a piece of ice and drop that line in...you never know what might be waiting for you!
Fishing for various species of fish are available such as lake trout, speckled trout, salmon, pickerel, northern pike, whitefish, perch and suckers.
Contact your local Ministry of Natural Resources for regulations and information on licenses. You need a valid license to fish in our area.
